What is Mentoring Matters? It is a 2 day event where you will be exposed to best practices of
- recruiting mentors
- effective training of mentors
- supervising of mentors
- and effective mentor matches
Why should you attend?
Mentor youth are:
- 27% less likely to start using alcohol
- 46% less likely to start using drugs
- 50% less likely to skip school
